Back from Tanzania – An Update from Unity School

We are back from our Great Migration trip to Tanzania and bring news from Unity School.   The school was in desperate need of a new roof, especially before autumn rains began, but funding this project was a big reach.  However, your generosity made this challenge possible.  We wired the funds in mid-September, and Makinda has been busy working with the engineer and contractor to ensure the work goes as planned.  We will post pictures soon! 

Our work is not done!  We still need new desks, uniforms, tuition and nutrition support, and additional needs are always on the horizon.  Our new contribution system supports all levels of giving!   Just a few dollars will go a long way to helping these precious children succeed.   Thank you for being a part of this success story.

A tuition sponsorship helps provide a student with access to a full school year at Unity School. Sponsors choose students by first name and grade, not by photograph.

School Uniforms

$40 buys one school uniform

Unity School currently needs uniforms for approximately 125 students. 

Student Desks

$60 provides a student desk

Help replace or add the desks students need for a safe, functional classroom environment.

Roof Replacement

Help provide a secure roof over every classroom

Gifts of any amount can be directed toward the school’s roof-replacement project.
